How to prevent Carnish and Soffit Rot? 

Reasons why it’s rotting 

1. Most common: not keeping your gutters clean, gutter tend to get back up and water will leak out the front and the back and get into your varnish and soffit. 
2. Roof leaks: it can show up in your carnish
3. Not keeping the house painted and sealed properly with good quality paint. *Recommended to paint every 5 years. Sometimes sooner depending on circumstances. 
4. If you don’t have gutters I recommend getting them and making sure they are clean. When added with gutter guards It makes it easier to maintain the soffit and carnish.
